Type 72 - T72 Positive Bias Booster Relay
The Bellofram Precision Controls Type 72 is a positive-bias pneumatic booster relay that produces an output pressure equal to the incoming control signal plus an adjustable bias setting. Four positive-bias ranges are available, from low-pressure adjustment through higher-pressure applications, and the standard signal-to-output ratio is 1:1 with 1:2, 1:4, and 1:6 ratios available by special request. At the stated test condition, forward flow is about 40 SCFM and exhaust capacity is about 6 SCFM. The Type 72 is designed for volume boosting, gas-flow control, tensioning, clutch and brake systems, roll loading, cylinder control, and valve-motor loading.
