Type 2000 - T2000 Intrinsically Safe
The Bellofram Precision Controls Type 2000 Intrinsically Safe Transducer is a high-accuracy I/P and E/P electro-pneumatic transducer for applications requiring intrinsically safe equipment. It converts a 4-20 mA or voltage control signal into precise, proportional pneumatic pressure using closed-loop pressure feedback and a hermetically sealed piezoceramic actuator. Available configurations support zero-based pressure ranges up to 120 PSIG, flow up to 21 SCFM, and FM/CSA or ATEX intrinsic-safety approvals. Typical applications include valve actuators, valve positioners, dampers and louvers, pneumatic controllers, air cylinders, relays, clutches, and brakes.

- ±0.1% of full-scale output accuracy typical (±0.25% guaranteed), including hysteresis, dead band, and repeatability
- Switch-selectable 4–20 mA current input or 0–5, 1–5, 1–9, 1–10, and 0–10 VDC input ranges
- Pneumatic output ranges available up to 120 PSIG with flow up to 21 SCFM
- Closed-loop pressure feedback helps minimize the effects of vibration, temperature, supply-pressure changes, and mounting orientation
